Wagonner's white bean chili
Often referred to as chicken chili, this award winning chili has a distinct southwestern flavor. Freeze dried chilies, white beans and spices combine to make a medium spiced chili. Prepare as a warm tortilla chip dip for game day.
Makes 2 Quarts: 6-8 servings Cook Time: 90 minutes

1 1/2 cups water
1 (14.5 oz.) can chicken broth
1 lb. chicken breasts, cubed
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
optional sour cream (to garnish)
1.Rinse beans. Place in 2" water in large pot & bring to boil for 10 minutes. Remove from heat & soak for 1 hour.
2.Drain and rinse beans; return to pot with water, soup seasoning mix, cubed chicken, chicken broth, and salt. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, simmer for 90 minutes until beans are tender.
3.Top with grated cheese
Wagoner's White Bean Chili pairs well with fresh cornbread. Add salsa & shredded pepper jack cheese for a spicy twist!
